I noticed that the Fedora Insync repo isn’t yet accepting F22.
I had to make the following changes:
baseurl=http://yum.insynchq.com/fedora/21/
–> previously: baseurl=http://yum.insynchq.com/fedora/$releasever/
Fedora 22 will be widely released in a few weeks, so it would be a very good idea to fix this…
For 1.2.8 Plasma 5 Insync status notifier is still not showing. More information on the changes
for Plasma 5 can be found here:
Just heard that you’ve removed the requirement to access our contacts, so downloaded the Windows version and started my trial.
I’ve encountered an odd bug. After I complete the setup, I navigate to the sync’ed folder on my local drive, and press right-mouse button because I want to paste some files, and the windows explorer dissapears (ie. it has crashed in some manner). This happens consistently.
If I press ctrl-V to paste then it is OK - I just can’t get away with right mouse button.
No, nor do I really see anything that could be called a ‘top bar’.
On th left side are feed, progress, incoming shares, actions required, and errrors, and there is nothing under errors. There is also a pause sync’ing option.
For the Linux build we enabled the FULL synchronous option for sqlite: (https://www.sqlite.org/pragma.html#pragma_synchronous). This could cause extreme slowdown for some users. Please test if this occurs in your system. To revert to the old setting, please run Insync with the --synchronous-normal option (insync start --synchronous-normal).
