Yes please, I noticed this was initially posted on September 2021. Could we get an official follow-up to this question outside of the obnoxiously obtuse “it’s been forwarded to the team”?
I am currently reconsidering my use of insync and this would greatly pivot myself back towards yourselves.
At the moment I have “rclone” configured with Proton Drive and 6 other services, it lacks a gui for configuration purposes (not that it really needs one for the more tech savvy).
Hi @Paddy_NI! Thank you for following up! We have not included support for Proton Drive in our pipeline yet. We are focused on fixing major sync bugs right now to ensure that Insync’s functionality is stable for when we start working on major releases like this.
Hi @Zaqen! My apologies, but Proton Drive has not been considered in our feature development just yet. Please see here for my response. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Would like to add my +1 to this request. Including support for Proton Drive would be, I believe, well received by all who value privacy and enjoy the features of Insync. Thanks.
+1 for Proton Drive support. Many people started to move away from Google and other American-based cloud service providers (me included), and Proton offers one of the most secure alternatives. Please make this a priority.
Proton has released and SDK for their drive, if I’m not wrong. Would be nice to have suport for it. I would pay, a fair price, for such “extra” feature.
So 5 years later do we get an official response to this? since there is no an SDK for linux this should be a no brainer really. Allot of people use proton drive and with all the crap going on with Microsoft i think this would bring many new users to insync + everyone here already will stay. Hell i can pay to buy again for just that support.
