The drive is not a local drive, but on a networked drive.
Can you send us your logs along with the link to this post to support@insynchq.com?
How to find the log files
Something similar happens to me.
I’m on Gigabit wired network, the drive is USB 3.0 drive connected to the router and published through Samba. It can give me up to 300 Mbps read when copying on Windows.
But rescanning by Insync also takes approx. 30-60 minutes. This happens every time I reconnect to the network or wake up the computer. I looked at wireshark logs and it issues a lot of SMB commands for all files that are in the synced folder.
Since I’m on Windows, I can’t use NFS, which might provide better performance.
So, the question is - is there a way to lower the network traffic by some batched querying?
OT: The drive also appears as missing in Insync when I’m connected from “outside” through a VPN. I can reach the drive normally from Explorer.
