Server 2012 - Error 5 - Access Denied

I run insync as a generic administrator (not builtin) but get Error 5 Access Denied messages in the logs.
How does insync interact, what account does it use and does it need explicit NTFS permissions on the insync folder to work? In this instance its a shared folder with multiple users.

Small Update, despite the Access Denied errors it finaly started in the middle of the night.
I will let it do a first sync and then update if I have further issues.

Seems like the upload is now working and very slowly uploading 2 files at a time, (Only 141,000 more to go)
Is there anyway to speed this up? Its stupidly slow!
