In this category you’ll find all the possible messages that you may encounter in the Actions Required tab – and how to resolve them.
There are 2 types of messages you may encounter: Actions Required and Errors messages
Actions Required
To resolve these messages, click on the dropdown arrow button (should be beside the message in-app) and select one of the options
File-related
- “No permission to modify [file name]”
- “No permission to delete [file name]”
- “Syncing for [path] is paused because it went missing”
- “Could not delete [file name]”
- “Changes to [file name] can’t be saved in Drive”
Account-related
- “Can not access account of [email]”
- “Your account [email] is paused because its syncing location [path] is empty”
- “Your account [email] is paused because Google Drive is running and using the same folder.”
- “[License name] for [account email] has expired”
Miscellaneous
“Your locale is not set to UTF-8. This will raise errors with non-ASCII filenames.”
Errors
For these messages, if retrying doesn’t fix the issue, you may send your log files to support@insynchq.com
File-related
- “Can’t add [file name] - format not recognized”
- “Copying [file name] is not allowed, please remove it”
- “Can’t upload [file name] - No read access”
- “Can’t upload [file name] - parent folder [parent name] not found on Drive”
- “Failed to upload [file name] - try again later”
- “Can’t upload [file name] - too many requests to Drive. Try again later.”
- “Can’t upload [file name] - Google Error”
- “Can’t download [file name] - parent is missing”
Account-related
“Can’t upload [file name] - Drive storage quota for [email] exceeded”
Miscellaneous
“Can’t process [file name] - [message]”
